On August 21, police responded to a report of a residential break and enter on Byron Street. The crime was likely committed two days previously when the home was unoccupied for about 5 hours. August 22, 2017 – Thieves Arrested in Oak Bay

On August 22nd, at approximately 3:40 am, the Oak Bay Police responded to a call of a suspicious person near Kings Road. On July 25th, in the 1300 block of Beach Drive a driver was a 24-hr roadside suspension for consuming liquor between 0.50-0.59 mg%. Their driver’s licence was seized for 24 hours. On July 10th, police stopped a vehicle with a burnt out headlight on Cadboro Bay Road near Cotswold. The driver exhibited signs of impairment.
