On July 13^th police attended to a residential break and enter on Zela Street. The glass window by the front door was smashed to gain entry. Jewellery and medication was stolen from inside the house.  The home owners had been away at the time of the B&E. Saanich Police Forensic Identification Unit attended. The case is still under investigation.

On July 13^th police received a report of a theft of a bicycle that had been locked up in the 2100 block of Oak Bay Avenue.

On July 14^th police received a report of a theft of tools from a car port in the 2000 block of Chaucer Street.

On July 15^th police attended to a residential break and enter on Central Avenue. The glass window by the front door was smashed to gain entry. Jewellery was stolen from inside the house. The home owners had been away at the time of the B&E.  Saanich Police Forensic Identification Unit attended.  The investigation is ongoing.

On July 15^th police received a report of a theft of a bicycle that had been locked up at Oak Bay Recreation Center.

On July 18^th at 11:30 pm, Oak Bay Police checked a motor vehicle due to a traffic violation.  An odour of liquor was noted.  Roadside screening tests were administered and the driver subsequently issued with a 3 day immediate roadside driving prohibition and his vehicle impounded for 3 days.
