Monday, May 9th, (#16 – 1569): A black 1981 motorcycle was stolen from the 1800 block of Christie Way. No suspects or witnesses.
Tuesday, May 10th, (#16 – 1580): A witness reported a possible impaired driver launching a boat at Cattle Point. The investigating member attended the location and found the male driver in the vehicle. After initially denying he had been drinking the driver admitted to consuming beer but then refused to provide a breath sample. An immediate roadside suspension was issued and the vehicle was towed.
Thursday, May 12th, (#16 – 1622): The Oak Bay Police assisted the Oak Bay Fire Department with a fire in the 2700 block of Satellite Street. The structural fire was deemed accidental but a number of people were temporarily displaced. There were no injuries.
Sunday, May 15th, (#16 – 1667): An insecure vehicle in the 2000 block of Crescent Road was entered and the contents were tossed about. A small amount of change was stolen. No witnesses or suspects.
