November 16, 2016
Police received a report of an unknown male who called an elderly female pretending to be her grandson and he convinced her to send him money. This incident is still under investigation.
An unlocked vehicle parked in the 900 blk of Transit Rd was entered sometime during the night. A first aid kit was taken.
November 17, 2016
Around 4:20pm a concerned citizen reported to police that she watched an elderly male take a couple pictures of two young children who were walking their dog in south Oak Bay. The elderly male was described as being in his 60’s, 5’10, wearing a red puffy jacket and driving a red pickup truck. Police searched the area and were unsuccessful in locating the truck.
November 18, 2016
At 10:30pm police received a complaint of three intoxicated males in the 3800 blk of Gordon Head Rd who were observed kicking the complainant’s passenger side mirror off of the parked vehicle. A neighbour gave chase but did not catch them.
November 19, 2016
Sometime overnight an unknown culprit smashed the passenger window out of a vehicle parked in the 2000 blk Oak Bay Ave and stole a laptop. A residence, which is currently under construction, in the 2700 blk Foul Bay Rd was broken into sometime overnight. Incident is still under investigation.
November 20, 2016
A vehicle parked in the 3500 blk of Redwood Ave was entered sometime overnight. Items stolen include assorted tools.
An unlocked vehicle was entered overnight which was parked in the 3000 blk of Larkdowne Rd. Nothing appears to have been taken although the vehicle was rifled through.
