Weekly Media Release Sept 19-25, 2016

During this past week there were 83 calls for service.

On the 19 September, there were15 calls for service, including one break and enter to a garage under construction where a number of tools were stolen, the remainder of the calls were routine in nature.

On the 20 September, there were 10 calls for service and were routine in nature.

On the 21 September, there were 13 calls for service, including one motor vehicle collision at Lansdowne and Cadboro Bay, and one attempt by an unknown male to pass a counterfeit fifty dollar, the remainder of the calls were routine in nature.

On the 22 September, there were 16 calls for service, including a collision between a car and cyclist near the parking lot of Camosun College with minor foot injuries to the cyclist, an attempted theft of an electric car’s charging cord.  A 24hr roadside suspension was also issued, resulting from a road block in the 3100 block of Foul Bay Rd.  The remainder of the calls were routine in nature.

On the 23 September, there were 7 calls for service and they were routine in nature.

On the 24 September, there were 10 calls for service, which were mostly routine in nature, however, one car was keyed by unknown person(s).

On the 25 September, there were 12 calls for service, mostly routine matters, except for a bicycle, which was stolen from an address on Transit Rd.
