The public is invited to attend a car seat clinic at the Oak Bay Recreation Centre 1975 Bee Street on Saturday, February 8.
The car seat program is a free service provided in partnership with the Oak Bay Police Department and a licensed car seat technician. The car seat technician will check your child’s car seat to determine whether it is expired (yes, car seats do expire), CMVSS approved and properly installed in your vehicle. Unfortunately some parents have mistakenly installed their child’s car seat incorrectly causing the potential increased risk of injury to their children.
