Media Release for July 27th to August 2nd, 2020

On July 27th the Oak Bay Police received a report of two stolen bicycles in the 900 block of Hampshire Rd.  The bicycles were removed from a garage possibly left unlocked.  Stolen bikes included a Bronze Ladies Norco 16” bike with basket, value $300.00 and a Black Men’s Brodie Omega, value $730.00.  (OB File 20-2297).

On July 29th the Oak Bay Police received a report of a stolen bicycle in the 2100 blk of Landsdowne Rd.  The owner left the bicycle unlocked outside by the garage.  Stolen bike was a black men’s Giant Defy Advanced 3 road bike, value $2000. (OB File 20-2325).

On July 29th the Oak Bay Police received a report of a stolen bicycle in the 2100 block of Cadboro Bay Rd.  The owner locked the bicycle at the skate park.  Stolen bike was a Black/Grey Gravity Cycle Cross with a high seat, value $700. (OB File 20-2327).

On July 31st the Oak Bay Police received two reports of a theft from auto in the 2600 block of Topp Ave.  Vehicles were left unlocked and riffled through and nothing stolen. A person of interest was identified. (OB File 20-2343/20-2352).

On July 31st the Oak Bay Police received a report of a theft from auto in the 2300 block of Pacific Ave.  Vehicles was left unlocked and riffled through.  A pair of sunglasses were stolen. Value $250. A person of interest was identified. (OB File 20-2347).
