On Tuesday March 3, 2020, police responded to a possible B&E in the 1400 block of Beach Drive. Occupants heard noise outside their patio door overnight. Unknown at this time if entry was made or anything stolen. 2020-664
On Tuesday March 3rd, police responded to a Theft from Auto. In the 2000 block of Florence St. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been left unlocked and a number of items were stolen. 2020-663.
On Tuesday March 3rd, police responded to a Fraud investigation where the complainant was contacted by a collection agency advising them, they owed a large amount of money due to non-payment of bills. Investigation revealed that the complainant was a victim of identity theft and an account had been opened in the complainant’s name. Investigation is on going. 2020-668
On Tuesday March 3rd, police responded to a report of a Break and Enter in the 2000 block of Eastdowne Rd. The homeowner returned home to find that their residence had been entered and some of their belongings missing. On Wednesday March 4th, police responded to a complaint of a Theft from Auto in the 300 block of Redwood Ave. Complaint found that their vehicle had been rummaged through. Unknown if anything was taken. 2020- 675
On Wednesday March 4th, police responded to a Mischief complaint in the 2000 block of Cadboro Bay Rd. The victim reported that the tires of their vehicle had been slashed. 2020-680
On Wednesday March 4th, police responded to an attempted Fraud complaint. The complainant advised that they received a message advising that they had overpaid an account and recipient of the over payment wanted to reimburse them. The complainant became suspicious when they began requesting personal information to “confirm” the complainant’s identity. 2020-682
On Thursday March 5th, police responded to the 900 block of Hampshire Rd. for a report of Theft from Auto. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was left unlocked. The complainant’s wallet was stolen. 2020-693

On Friday March 6th, police responded to an Attempted Fraud. The complainant reported receiving a phone call from the bank requesting that they attend the bank and withdraw money and purchase gift cards. The complainant attended the bank to confirm the information before the bank called the police. Investigation is on going. 2020-704

On Saturday March 7th, police were in the area of Foul Bay and Fort St when they observed a vehicle drifting in and out of its lane. Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Davies St. Victoria and during the course of the investigation determined that the driver had been consuming alcohol. The driver was issued a 90-Day Driving Prohibition and their vehicle impounded for 30 days. 2020-713
On Sunday March 8th, police responded to the 900 block of Oliver St for a report of a prowler. The complainant reported that an unknown male had walked up the steps of their residence. The homeowner confronted the male, subsequently ran away. Police conducted a search of the area but did not locate the male. 2020-723
