In 2013, OBPD responded to approximately 100 reports of “Theft from Motor Vehicle”. This is down from over 200 such calls in 2012 and well down from the 10-year high hit in 2005 which saw over 300 hundred reported thefts from vehicles. The members of the Oak Bay Police Department wish to thank the residents of Oak Bay for remembering to lock their vehicles, removing their valuables and calling to report vehicle entries and thefts. Your diligence is paying off.
