COLLISION

On November 8th at 7:15pm, police attended the 3200 block of Cadboro Bay Rd. for a single motor vehicle roll over. Upon attendance the vehicle was located in the middle of the road, on its roof, with damage estimated to be over $10,000. The 79-year-old female driver swerved into oncoming traffic after reporting she had difficulty seeing the yellow line. Two parked vehicles sustained damage as a result of this incident. The driver received a Motor Vehicle Act violation ticket for Driving Without Due Care and Attention, $368, and 6 points on her license.  A request for a driver medical review is being forwarded.
