MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION
On April 23, 2026, at 6:19 p.m., Oak Bay Police were called to a 2-vehicle collision on Windsor Rd / Monterey Ave. A vehicle travelling Northbound on Monterey Ave failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with the second vehicle as it was travelling Westbound on Windsor Rd, causing it to spin and end up on the boulevard. No injuries were reported and the driver of the first vehicle was issued a ticket for failing to obey a stop sign. (File 2026-1125)

IMPAIRED DRIVING
On April 25, 2026, Oak Bay Police were conducting routine patrols and checking driver sobriety in the area of Cedar Hill Cross Road. At approximately 11:15 p.m., officers conducted a roadside screening test and determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was affected by alcohol. As a result, the driver was issued a 24 hour driving prohibition in accordance with provincial legislation. (File 2026 1150)
