Effective Friday, May 1, 2015, the Oak Bay Police Department will increase the fee for Police Information Checks from $50 to $70.  This increase applies to employment checks or checks for other purposes.

Police Information Checks will remain free of charge for Volunteers

All other fee structures related to fingerprint submission to Ottawa are unchanged.  This increase will be consistent with the fees collected by other Greater Victoria Police agencies and more reflective of the costs incurred by the Department for providing the service.

Residents of Oak Bay who wish to apply for Police Information Checks should be directed to attend in person to the Oak Bay Police Department, 1703 Monterey Avenue during regular office hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
