On August 4^th, there were 3 thefts from vehicles reported to police. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2400 block of Cadboro Bay Rd; an iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2200 block of Windsor Rd, and a vehicle was broken into in the 2500 block of Epworth St, however, nothing was stolen.

An attempted break and enter to a residence was reported to police in the 900 block of Monterey Ave, nothing stolen, only damage to a door window.

On August 6^th, a motorist was stopped for excessive speeding on Foul Bay Rd, doing 125 kmh in a 50 kmh zone. The driver was issued a violation ticket for excessive speed, and the driver’s vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

A theft was also reported to police from a shop along Oak Bay Ave, when a suspect stole 2 pairs of sunglasses off the store counter and fled the store. The suspect has not been identified.

On August 8^th, an iPad was stolen from a vehicle however the complainant had been parked in both Oak Bay and Saanich so it’s unknown where the theft actually occurred. No suspects at this time.
