On February 13, 2020 at 10:00 pm, Oak Bay Police were called to a report of a woman screaming at Willows Beach. Officers immediately attended and confirmed all was well. Three female teens were screaming after deciding to go for a swim in the frigid waters. All came ashore and were in good spirits and health (Oak Bay Police File 2020-466). We’re very grateful for the call however as we take such calls very seriously.
