Weekly Media Release Feb 20-26 2017

On February 20th, police were called to a residence in Oak Bay for a possible domestic dispute. Investigation showed that one of the parties was suffering from some form of mental illness. They were transported to hospital.

In the early morning hours of February 25th, police were called to Windsor Park for a complaint of Mischief. A vehicle drove onto the grass and spun its tires, causing damage to the field.

In the evening of February 25th, police investigated a single vehicle collision with a light standard in north Oak Bay. There was significant damage to the vehicle and the light standard was severed.

On February 26th, police stopped a vehicle for speeding on north Henderson Road. The driver was found to be prohibited. The vehicle was impounded and the driver issued a provincial appearance notice to appear in court at a later date.
