On July 16th, at approximately 4:00 am the Oak Bay Police Department responded to a commercial glass break in the 2000 block of Oak Bay Avenue. The suspect smashed a side window, entered the store and stole a 29” Specialized Levo electric bicycle (value: $3700.00) from the front display window. The investigation is ongoing to identify the suspect. OB File #20-2183

On July 18th, at approximately 2:00 am the police responded to noisy youths at Carnarvon Park. The youths were located and they were consuming liquor. A violation ticket for Consuming Liquor in a Public Place was issued.

On July 19th, at approximately 2:00 am a vehicle was stopped in the 3300 block of Cadboro Bay Road for not having their tail lights illuminated. The young driver did not have a valid driver’s licence and was issued a violation ticket for “No Driver’s Licence” .

On July 19th, the Oak Bay Police Department received a mischief/vandalism report of lewd and inappropriate spray painted pictures on a commercial building in the 700 block of St. Patrick Street. The owner re-painted the wall. OB File #20-2209
