On June 3rd the Oak Bay Police were dispatched to a theft in the 600 block of Transit Road. The complainant advised that a wheelbarrow and gravel were stolen from her front yard. (OB 20-1712)
On June 3rd the Oak Bay Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Oak Bay Avenue for some graffiti mischief that had occurred to the building. File is under investigation. (OB File 20-1716)
On June 4th the Oak Bay Police received an email regarding an aggressive deer in the 2400 block of Hamiota Street. The complainant advised that she was walking her dog when she came across the deer and had to take refuge on a resident’s doorstep until someone chased it away with a lawn chair. Oak Bay Police want to remind everyone that the does have their babies at this time of year and they go into “protective” mode. Please be careful if you are walking your dog in an area you know the deer like to frequent. If a deer approaches, pick up your dog and try to back away while putting something between you and the deer. (Ob File 20-1775)
On June 6th an Oak Bay Police member observed a male acting suspiciously behind the Oak Bay High School in the 2100 block of Cadboro Bay Road. After an investigation the male was arrested for breaching court imposed conditions. (OB File 20-1758)
On June 6th the Oak Bay Police received a mischief complaint in the 3800 block of Finnerty Road. University of Victoria security reported a vehicle had driven all over their grass and caused some damage. A witness observed the incident and attempted to talk to the driver who did not appear to care. The licence plate obtained was incorrect. If anyone has any information, please call the OBPD. On June 7th the Oak Bay Police received a mischief report in the 2000 block of Townley Street. The complainant advised that her rear passenger window had
been smashed overnight. No items of value had been left in the car. (OB File

On June 7th the Oak Bay Police received a theft from auto report in the 2100 block of Cadboro Bay Road. The complainant observed her insurance decal hadbeen removed from her vehicle. (OB File 20-1774)
