On November 10th at 7:55 pm, police located two males drinking beer on Oak Bay Avenue. The liquor was poured out and the two males were issued violation tickets for consuming liquor in a public place.
On November 11th at 12:13 am, police stopped a vehicle for a burnt out headlight on King George Terrace. The driver showed signs of having consumed liquor and blew a “Fail” twice. He was given a 90 day driving prohibition and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
On November 11th at 9:38 am, police manning a barricade on Beach drive were asked for directions by a motorist. Police could smell burnt marihuana and the driver admitted to having smoked up recently. A quantity of marihuana and paraphernalia were seized and the driver was given a 24 hour driving suspension for driving under the influence of a drug. The vehicle was towed.
On November 14th, police investigated a complaint of a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred sometime over night. Person(s) unknown entered the unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway and stole change and a phone charger.
On November 15th, police responded to a complaint of a suspicious man taking pictures of children at Willows Park. When a parent yelled at the male, he left, but returned a short time later. The man was described as older with greying hair and wearing glasses. Police are investigating.
On November 16th at 12:16 am, police responded to a complaint of shots fired in the 1200 block of St David Street. Further investigation concluded it was fireworks.
