November 18th

Sometime overnight an unknown person(s) entered a couple vehicles in the Oak Bay area. One of the vehicles was parked on Foul Bay Rd and the contents were rifled through but nothing appears to be missing. The other vehicle was parked on Dalhousie and an iPod touch was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry into either of the vehicles.

November 19th

Police received a report that sometime between November 14th – 18th an unknown culprit broke into three coin operated laundry machines in an apartment complex and made off with an undisclosed amount of coins.

November 20th

Sometime overnight an unknown suspect entered a vehicle that was parked in a driveway on Cardiff Pl. A Helly Hansen duffel bag that contained electronic equipment, along with personal items, was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle.

November 22nd

Police were conducting a road block on Cadboro Bay Rd during the early morning hours. A vehicle stopped and an overpowering smell of fresh marihuana and a slight odour of burnt marihuana were detected. Both occupants were arrested and a small amount of marihuana was found on their possession. No criminal charges were laid however the driver was issued with a 24 hr driving suspension for being impaired by drug.

November 23rd

A Police Officer was parked at the Police Post earlier in the morning and noticed a suspicious vehicle in the area. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was unlicensed and prohibited. The driver was issued an Appearance Notice for court, a 3 month driving prohibition and the vehicle he was driving was impounded for 7 days.
