Police responded to 4 complaints of fireworks usage over the days surrounding Hallowe’en. There was no damage and the culprits were not located.

Police responded to 5 house parties and a young female was transported to the hospital due to extreme alcohol intoxication.

On October 30th, police assisted Oak Bay Fire with traffic control due to a water main break at McNeil Ave/Transit Rd.

On November 2, 2014, Police responded to a report of theft from auto in the early morning hours in the 900 block of Victoria Ave. The left rear window was smashed and a backpack containing a laptop was stolen. The back pack was later recovered on a trail between St David St and Transit Rd. The suspect was on a bicycle. Police are requesting any information pertaining to this theft.

Police responded to two reported mischiefs and damage to vehicles in the Kings Rd and also in the Musgrave area.

On October 30th, at around 6:00 pm, police responded to a report of a theft of poppy donation box in the 2100 block of Oak Bay Ave. The amount of money was unknown. Business owners are reminded to keep an eye on the donation boxes and place them in a location that isn’t too vulnerable to theft. All proceeds collected go to the military veterans and their programs.
