On September 12^th, police received a report of theft from vehicle in south Oak Bay. Sometime overnight, person(s) unknown entered a pickup truck through an open window and took a cheque. The truck was parked in the owner’s driveway. The matter is still under investigation.

On September 12^th, police received a report of theft from vehicle in south Oak Bay. Sometime overnight, person(s) unknown entered the unlocked vehicle and took some coins from the glove box. The vehicle was parked on the street.

On September 12^th, an Oak Bay police officer seconded to IRSU located a stolen vehicle during an impaired driving investigation. The Oak Bay owner of the vehicle was unaware that his vehicle was missing. The driver is facing charges of refusal to provide a breath sample as well as possession of stolen property.(previously reported)

On September 12^th, police attended the Oak Bay Rec Centre for a report of theft. Person(s) unknown broke into a locker while the patron was swimming and took and wallet (containing credit cards) and clothing.

On September 13^th, police responded to an area golf course where two golf carts and some speakers had been taken. Both golf carts and one of the speakers were recovered. The speaker has been submitted to Ident for fingerprinting. The matter is still under investigation.
