On Feb 10th an Island Rd resident reported that they had some time ago thrown out several blank cheques and that now one of them had been cashed in Victoria for almost $1,000 by a person not known to them. On January 22nd at 9:00 pm police were called to a complaint of youths breaking street lamp covers along the area of Lansdowne Rd and Midland Rd. On January 6th, police attended the intersection of Nottingham and Dufferin for a two vehicle collision. A southbound vehicle on Nottingham was struck by a second vehicle that failed to stop at the stop sign on Dufferin and Nottingham. Airbags were deployed in both vehicles.
