Media Release for the Week of February 14 to 20, 2022

On February 14th, 2022, Oak Bay Police received a report of an online scam. A local resident was searching for a motorhome and came across a listing on Craigslist. A wire transfer was sent in the amount of $16,000 to purchase the motorhome. The sale is believed to be fraudulent. Matter is still under investigation. Continue Reading

OB File #2022-42 On Tuesday, January 4th a patrol member noted an expired decal on a vehicle in the 200 block of King George Terrace. The vehicle was followed to the homeowner’s residence.
